Lars Steen Rasmussen joins Better Energy as Chief Operating Officer (COO) as of September 1st, and Kia Lindholm has been appointed Chief Legal Officer (CLO) effective August 1st. The two additions to its Executive Board are part of Better Energy’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and strategic growth.
Lars Steen Rasmussen joins as Chief Operating Officer
Lars Steen Rasmussen brings over 30 years of leadership experience across various industries and markets to his new role as COO. His career includes leadership roles at Moog, Danfoss Cooling and Jupiter Bach. Most recently, he served as CEO of Nissens Cooling Solutions. Lars’ experience and expertise in strategic planning and driving revenue and profitability within the renewable energy sector will be instrumental as Better Energy continues to construct and operate renewable energy parks.
Across Better Energy’s markets, Lars will oversee its operational activities. His immediate focus will be scaling operations across the EPC value chain, ensuring efficient procurement and supply chain management to support the timely delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Lars will also contribute to long-term innovation and operational efficiency.

Kia Lindholm appointed Chief Legal Officer
Kia Lindholm, a central member of Better Energy’s legal team since 2023, has been promoted to Chief Legal Officer. With nearly a decade of experience at Kromann Reumert and Marsh, Kia has a proven track record in mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance.
In her previous position as Head of M&A and Finance, Legal at Better Energy, Kia played a key role in the teamwork securing key transactions, including the joint venture partnership with Andel and the renewal of a credit facility with P Capital Partners. In her new role, she will continue to lead a diverse group of legal professionals to guide the company as it enters future partnerships and agreements.

My focus has been formalising and executing these partnerships so that we have the resources and expertise to grow our business in the right way. I look forward to working together with various partners to move the energy transition forward,” says Kia Lindholm.
